Punteggio 85/100 · Da bere 2024, Neal Martin
The 1962 Le Corton Grand Cru, served from magnum, has a dry and enervated nose that is perhaps exaggerated by strong performances from other mature bottles at the tasting. It gives off a rather malodorous charcoal scent. The palate offers austere black fruit and a touch of spice, but there's too much VA here, and it feels rather simple. Tasted at the mature Bouchard Père dinner at the Domaine in Beaune.
