Note di degustazione
Here the nose is less elegant and more deeply pitched than that of the Pougets with its mostly dark berry fruit aromas that are liberally peppered with pungent earth, smoked meat and animale hints. There is excellent volume and power to the broad-shouldered flavors that, interestingly enough possess a caressing mouth feel before culminating in a powerful, firm, austere and impressively long finish. This will require a lengthy cellar stay so patience absolutely required. Tasted: Apr 15, 2013. Drink: 2023+
