2011 Auxey Duresses Blanc

A cool nose of primarily green fruit and wet stone leads to punchy and lemon-infused middle weight flavors that exude a fine minerality on the saline and notably dry finish that avoids excess austerity. This is not refined, indeed it's on the rustic side, but it's also sufficiently forward that it will be enjoyable early. Tasted: Jun 11, 2013. Drink: 2015+
