Good medium red. Aromas of plum, tobacco, herbs, smoke and musky underbrush. Suave, supple and fairly dry, with a pliant, accessible texture framed by ripe acidity. Slightly medicinal but not austere, with complicating notes of spices, meat and bonfire. Very sangiovese.

Developed ruby with quite a lot of evolution at the rim. Rather tired fruit on the nose. Good biting Sangiovese on the palate but it's all a little advanced in terms of development . Not very refreshing or stimulating. Dusty and a little tired with aggressive acidity. (JR)
