Note di degustazione
The bouquet of the 1995 Brunello di Montalcino is deep and intense, offering raspberry sauce, cinnamon, dusty rosy and smoke. This is silky-smooth and elegant in feel with ripe red and black fruits, medium to heavy in weight, but balanced by brisk acids. Wood tannins frame the finale, yet as an accent, as the 1995 is sitting at the peak of its maturity. Inner tobacco and floral notes linger incredibly long. This is a pleasure to taste. At this point in history, the Argiano wines were aged in a combination of chestnut barrels and barrique.

Pretty ripe. Full and dry. (JR)
The 1995 Brunello di Montalcino exhibits an evolved ruby/garnet color as well as complex aromatics of soy, smoked meats, red currants, cherries, and licorice. Ripe, complex, and dense, with a sweet attack, and an evolved, supple texture, it can be drunk now and over the next 10-15 years. Importer: Vias Imports, New York, NY; tel. (212) 629-0200
