Note di degustazione
This has really stayed the course with still fresh darker berry and cherry aromas and flavors, framed in spicy and earthy, complex savory character. The tannins have smooth and succulent draw and deliver length and poise on the finish. Drink over the next six to eight years.

Saturated deep red. Sexy aromas of dark cherry, currant, underbrush, cocoa powder and dried flowers. Densely packed, suave and fine-grained, with lovely inner-mouth energy. Savory rather than sweet, with flavors of dark fruits and minerals dominating. Finishes long, with broad, palate-coating tannins and a suggestion of menthol austerity. This should age nicely.
Very dark crimson indeed with some ruby at the rim. A brulee note to the fruit. Round, readable, very healthy and lively with savoury, chewy tannins and well balanced acidity on the finish. Quite a stand out! (JR)
The 2004 Brunello di Montalcino is soft and generous in its cherries in liqueur, menthol, flowers and spices. High-toned aromatics frame the fruit through to the finish, where a kick of warmth from the alcohol resonates on the close. This is an accessible, generous and pleasing Brunello to drink over the following decade or so.
