Bright ruby-red. Fairly primary aromas of dark berries, plum, smoked meat and menthol. Sweet, primary and backward, with medicinal flavors of inky dark berries and geranium. A brooding young Brunello, finishing with firm tannins that turned a bit tough with aeration. Ripe but uncompromisingly dry.
