Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2019-2035, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jul 2020

Bursting from the glass with aromas of toasted sesame, pastry cream, ripe pears, vanilla pod and clear honey, Coche's 2009 Meursault Les Rougeots is medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with fine depth and concentration at the core, ripe acids and a charming, gourmand profile. Demonstrative rather than intellectual, the 2009 Rougeots continues to drink beautifully.

Punteggio 18/20 · Da bere 2015-2022, Jancis Robinson MW, Nov 2018

Pale gold with a strong greenish tinge. Really quite rich on the nose with strong savoury, actually almost salted buttery, notes. Definitely more obviously evolved than most vintages of Coche-Dury. Pure and powerful. Very smooth and satin-textured. Much broader than most wines from this domaine. Long. Only very lightly struck match-scented. (JR)

Punteggio 17/20 · Da bere 2018-2020, Jancis Robinson MW, Oct 2018

Initially not much nose – just a light lemon and liquorice cocktail with only a light struck match character. Bone dry finish and really tense. Very pure and quite austere. I don't think you would guess this was a 2009 blind. Definitely not rich. Definitely smoky. I'm going to put this in a young wine decanter before serving. (JR)

Punteggio 17/20 · Da bere 2015-2026, Jancis Robinson MW, Nov 2016

High yield and very ripe. Broad and rich and ripe on the nose, without the forceful precision of the 2010. Spicy but definitely soft. Sweet start, and already quite charming and medium weight. Not that reductive but with masses of tension. You could already enjoy this, but there is the acidity and weight to keep it going. Unusual sweetness here in a Coche wine. Just a little light in Coche terms. (JR)
