2000 Chablis Montmains

( also bottled in May) Cool aromas of apple, mint, nutmeg and mace. Then larger-scaled, sweeter and rounder than the Forets, with more harmonious, enveloping fruit. Ripe, broad and long on the aftertaste. I suspect that Bernard would rate this a point lower than I have, for a slight lack of intensity and grip.
