Creamy and even a hint of caramel. Orange biscuits. But also a slightly odd, nutty burgundy 2004 nose (I swear I spotted that 04 aroma – often giving a green stalkiness and tamarind cast in reds – before I thought about it being from the 04 vintage; see this related discussion on our Members' forum ). An aroma like wet, fresh cob nuts. Crisp and tight but brought down by that odd aroma. Minty, Pierre-Yves suggests? (JH)
