Note di degustazione
The 1984 La Mission Haut-Brion displays a deep garnet core and light bricking on the rim. The nose, like many 1984s, lacks amplitude and vigor; it’s a little confected and reveals light scents of dried blood and bell pepper. The palate is a bit staid, offering light tobacco-tinged red fruit and a simple, dry finish. Most bottles should be consumed now.

Dark blackish brown. No great freshness on the nose, a bit too dusty but certainly La Mission like. Dusty and dry. (JR)
La Mission's 1984 has a moderately dark color and is round, herbaceous, fruity, and easy to drink. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 3/89.
