1995 Corton Le Rognet

Very good medium-deep red. Aroma of crystallized black cherry. Large-scaled, supple and sweet, with substantial palate presence. The acids are not particularly aggressive, nor are the chewy tannins out of balance with the wine, yet this seriously structured wine still seemed rather musclebound. Still, the very long, sweet aftertaste promises an outstanding bottle.
