Note di degustazione
Grapes were harvested by hand into small wooden crates and maceration and vinification took two to three weeks, with indigenous yeasts and controlled fermentation temperatures. Extraction was carefully controlled, with pigeage once a day at the start of the fermentation and remontage until fermentation was finished. Matured in French oak, 10% new, for 12-15 months. Winemaker Veronique Boss-Drouhin. TA 5.7 g/l, pH 3.38, RS 1.9 g/l. Very pale crimson. Wonderfully delicate and correct. Véronique Boss-Drouhin is sure carrying on the family style, in the most delightful way. A lovely light touch. Very pure and already fun to drink. (JR)

The 2010 Chorey-Les-Beaune is a beautiful wine laced with expressive dark red cherries, licorice, spices and smoke, all supported by persistent minerality. This is a fabulous wine for the money and a rare value from Burgundy.
Bright ruby. Sweet and rich and very lively. Dry finish. Good energy for the money. (JR)
