The estate's 2007 Barbera d'Alba Superiore flows with exceptional depth and richness in a sumptuous style that never goes over the top. Vajra's trademark elegance is in full force, as dark fruit, spices, flowers and licorice meld together seamlessly. The Superiore is just a touch alcoholic and oaky at this stage, but a few more years in bottle should help wine come together nicely.
