With its lively color, expressive aromatics and finely nuanced expression, this deeply layered wine is packed with notes of ripe dark fruit, mint, eucalyptus, earthiness and well-integrated oak. It is a vibrant, structured Avvoltore that will benefit from a few years of cellaring. In the meantime readers will find much pleasure in the 2003.
