Lemon and white flowers on the vibrant nose. Tightly wound but essentially supple and expressive, with captivating flavors similar to the aromas, along with a note of vanillin oak (one of five barrels was new). Not a particularly minerally style. In fact, this is ultimately rather easygoing, round and ripe. Roulot believes he picked this fruit a bit too late in '05 and currently prefers the 2006 version.
