The Ampeleia 2005 is a rich, sensual wine endowed with layers spiced dark fruit, minerals and flowers. Smoke, tar, leather and licorice nuances develop in the glass, adding further complexity. The Ampeleia shows terrific balance and harmony, particularly within the context of the vintage. This is a wonderful effort from proprietor Elisabetta Foradori.
