Very good dark red. Musky, wild black fruits, licorice and a meaty nuance on the nose. Fat, sweet and exotic, conveying an impression of low acidity. Yet this is pure and reasonably fresh. Finishes lush, broad and fine-grained.

(14% alcohol) Red-ruby. Pungent aromas of raspberry, strawberry and spices. Ample, sweet and intense, with good flavor definition. In fact, this is a real fruit bomb on the palate. Finishes quite long, with a whiplash of jammy red fruits, spices and exotic herbs and a hint of alcoholic warmth.

Domaine Robert Groffier is based in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis and is famous for having some of the most enviable sites in the Côte de Nuits, including a full hectare within Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Amoureuses – one of the most fiercely collected vineyards in Burgundy.
