The Altesino 1986 Brunello di Montalcino Montosoli reveals a hint of very distant fruitiness at its core, although the aromas appear as dried cherry and blackcurrant. But higher total acidity gives this wine brightness to close, especially on the mouthfeel, and there is a hint of mineral saltiness.
