2005 Meursault Les Perrieres

Deft though not invisible wood surrounds ripe but airy white flower and spiced pear aromas that give way to rich, sweet and nicely detailed flavors that pack good vibrancy and punch into the intensely mineral-suffused finish that is both dry and penetrating. This is carrying a bit more wood than I personally prefer but the finesse of the finish makes for a stylish wine all the same.
