2005 Meursault Les Perrieres

(we moved to a colder cave to taste this and the Combettes) High-pitched aromas of citrus peel, minerals and spices. Rich and superripe but quite firm today, even a bit strict; classy, nicely delineated flavors of crystallized citrus, crushed stone and spices. Finishes ripe, stony, dry and long. Matrot notes that this may still have a bit of unfermented residual sugar but I never would have guessed it.
