Note di degustazione
Tasted at Château Rauzan-Gassies. The 2007 Croizet Bages, a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc has a rather disjointed nose, very herbaceous and leafy, needing more fruit to back it up. The palate is dry on the entry with a firm grip, but falls away dramatically after that, tapering to a slightly bitter finish. Tasted June 2015.

Fragrant, dark fruit. A little hard on the palate but the balance is just about there. A little dry on the finish. (JH)
Looks quite aged crimson, lightweight but reasonably well balanced nose. Very easy. Nothing out of place – but this is designed for pretty rapid consumption! Twd be nice to see a bit more ambition... (JR)
Looks quite evolved. Good compact aromas which have some interest. Sweet and dense and opulent. Quite beefy and with interest and then rather drying tannins. An unusually ambitious wine for 2007! A good advertisement for tasting blind, though? (JR)
