Note di degustazione
The 1966 Clos de Tart Grand Cru has a healthy deep russet hue. The bouquet is delightful: old-school Burgundy with dark berry fruit, mulberry, fern, damp woodland and just a touch of mint, gently unfolding with aeration. The palate is very well balanced, offering fine tannin and red fruit tinctured by a splash of soy. I admire the definition, breeding and nobility of this Clos de Tart, which shows just a little dryness on the finish but is otherwise holding up well. Very fine. Tasted at the Clos de Tart vertical at Ten Trinity in London.
