A charming buoyant warm-berry perfume. Rounded but fairly rustic tannins, cherry lozenge and a touch of 'digestif' bitterness. Medicinal, herbal, lots of character and tart sassy fruit. Not fine or high brow but pleasant drinking. (TC)

(done entirely in stainless steel tank) Dark red. Sour cherry, menthol and mint on the nose. Juicy and quite dry, with bright acidity giving a cool quality to the medicinal flavors of cherry, fresh herbs and spices. Finishes slightly tart and a bit youthfully clenched, with good length. Very typical of this vintage for dolcetto.
