Note di degustazione
Veggy-scented. Quite interesting. Then a certain sweet, simple, treacly character. Loose. Could try harder! (JR)

This well-made St.-Emilion offers up aromas of melted chocolate, toasty new oak, black cherries, licorice, and strawberries. The wine is medium-bodied, pure, well-balanced, and finely-etched. It possesses sweet tannin, adequate acidity, and a moderately long finish. One to three years of cellaring will be beneficial. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2016.

Medium ruby-red. Cool, minty, leafy aromas of violet and shoe polish. A wine of modest flesh and ripeness, a bit meager in the middle palate. I don't find a lot of aromatic or flavor development.
