Note di degustazione
The 1990 is at least very good. A backward, oaky, tannic wine in need of some bottle age, this full-bodied St.-Emilion exhibits plenty of power and guts. Anticipated maturity: 1996-2005.

Very good but not holding on that well. Dark garnet color. Aromas of ripe fruit, coffee and bark follow through to a medium-bodied palate with dried fruit and a dry, tobacco and earth aftertaste.--1990 Bordeaux retrospective. Drink now. 4,500 cases made. – James Suckling , Wine Spectator 2000

Medium color, with a suggestion of development. Tobacco, leather, and cherry/berry aromas; slightly high-toned. Supple but on the lean side for the vintage; finishes with somewhat dry tannins. Needs at least a few years of aging.
