Sine Qua Non's 2005 White Wine The Petition tastes like it was made yesterday. Lemon oil, white flowers, mint and almonds are some of the many notes thet blossom in the glass in a dazzling wine endowed with tremendous energy and persistence. What else is left to say? The 2005 has aged magnificently and shows no signs whatsoever of fading.

An unique blend of Chardonnay, Roussanne, and Viognier, the 2005 Sine Qua Non The Petition is a rich, full-flavored white that oozes ripe peach and golden fruit aromas that are intermixed with hints of hazelnut, crème, and mineral on the nose. While this started out tight and slightly heavy, as is common with aged whites, it continues to gain freshness and purity over the evening. Full-bodied, voluptuously textured, and with a powerful, heady finish, this outstanding white was most likely a touch better on release, yet should continue to evolve gracefully for a number of years.
(37% viognier, 33% roussanne and 30% chardonnay) Medium gold. Lush and honeyed nose offers ripe peach, nectarine and apricot, with lively cinnamon and mace adding complexity. Stains the palate with ripe but restrained pit fruit flavors, picking up an exotic cinnamon toast quality on the back. Suave and silky, with outstanding finishing cling and thrust.
