Subtle renditions of balsam herb and licorice fill in the rear. The palate sees dry tannins and a short finish that leaves you expecting more. Drink: 2014-2018.

Quite deep crimson. Quite intriguing, high-toned nose. Spreads across the palate. Rather velvety and flattering. At least there's ripeness here! Gentle tannins at the end. Refreshing acidity. (JR)
