Tenuta San Guido's 2008 Le Difese is impressive in this vintage. Blackberries, crushed rocks, flowers and spices are just some of the aromas and flavors that flow from the gorgeous Le Difese. There is more than enough freshness to suggest this should drink nicely for several years. Le Difese is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Sangiovese.

70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Sangiovese. Fresh plum on the nose, with just a suggestion of ripe tomato. Chunky bold tannins cupping a mouthful of ripe fresh fruit and tarragon. A mocha note on the finish. Very moreish. (TC)
