Note di degustazione
Light to medium-bodied, the 2001 Meursault Clos du Cromin displays fresh white fruit aromas and scents. Plump, rich, and delineated, it is loaded with spicy pear flavors that linger in its impressive finish. Drink it over the next 5 years. To Patrick Javillier, 2001 was a classic vintage with normal ripeness levels and problem-free fermentations, “I really don’t see where the problems are ... total acidity was in the 5.5 to 6.0 range and finished pHs were between 3.2 and 3.25, it’s all very classic.”

Not much nose, though quite substantial weight. Grainy, even astringent. Some real weight. (JR)
Highly aromatic nose of lemon and peach; shows an exotic, confectionery aspect. Then fruity and sappy, with fresh mineral and floral flavors and good texture and weight but only moderate richness and length.
