Note di degustazione
Solid and chewy but lacks a little lift. Nice, supple texture but less aromatic than most and just a slightly green streak. (JR)

The estate’s second wine, the 2001 La Chapelle de la Mission, reveals a plum/ruby color as well as a rich nose of tobacco smoke, dried herbs, cherries, and black currants. Well-made, medium-bodied, and soft, it is more approachable than its bigger sibling.
Quite rich, classic nose. Excellent deep colour. Almost slightly brûlée. Black pepper. Smooth and delicate. Very well handled, then quite dry tannins. Medium weight, then dry. Very slightly inky. (JR)
