2019 Aloxe-Corton Les Combes Rouge

The 2019 Aloxe-Corton Les Combes was fully destemmed. It felt a little static on the nose and lacked the amplitude that I found on the preceding Les Fichots. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, delivering a mixture of red and blue fruit. Dense on the finish. I hope it will gain some delineation when it is bottled.
