Note di degustazione
Note: from a purchase of must. This is also quite pretty, and decidedly cool, with its layered array of Granny Smith apples, acacia blossom, citrus rind and crushed fennel nuances. There is very good volume to the delicious and intense medium weight flavors that exude an almost palpable minerality on the firm and beautifully persistent finale that is supporting by lemon-tinged acidity. Lovely and very La Garenne in style. *Burghound Outstanding!*

The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne 1er Cru has a malic, tightly-wound bouquet at the moment that feels a bit overawed by the range of Chassagne. The palate is linear, quite saline, and sapid on the front of the mouth, which gets the saliva flowing. Quite a strict Puligny, this will appeal to those seeking more classicism in their Puligny wines this vintage.(NM)
