Note di degustazione
From the domaine's oldest Pinot Noir vines, a 0.5-hectare parcel planted in 1958. Les Lavières is one of Savigny's finest Premiers Crus, and this is quintessential mature red Côte de Beaune. Medium-bodied, elegant and beautifully evolved, with delicate red fruits, dried cherries and a touch of spice and game. Silky and refined on the palate, with fresh acidity and fully softened tannins. Savoury, complex and beautifully balanced, leading to a long, delicate finish. A gorgeous mature Burgundy from the highly attractive 1997 vintage, drinking beautifully now.
Informazioni sul produttore

The epitome of old-school Burgundy, the Meursault-based Domaine Robert Ampeau crafts traditional wines, both red and white. Today run by Michel Ampeau, the property’s wines are – unlike most producers today – only released when they are ready to drink, often with 20-plus years in bottle.
