Note di degustazione
The 2025 Château de France has a similar fruit profile to its peers, with black cherries and boysenberry fruit, and light violet scents emerging with time. It settles nicely in the glass, a second sample displaying more sous-bois character. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, fine acidity, though it needs more complexity and minéralité to really complete this wine. But a good, solid '24 that should age well in bottle.

A juicy red with blackberries and a hint of red currants, a medium body, medium-round tannins and an attractive finish.
The 2025 de France is a powerful wine. Blackberry, dried herbs, menthol, licorice and chocolate convey notable intensity. There's plenty of depth, but also some angularity in the contours that give the wine its burly personality.
80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sémillon. 28 hl/ha. Cask sample. Citrus notes with well-integrated oak. Adequate acidity for balance. (JL)
