2023 Perihelios

Made by Thomas Rivers Brown and based on 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Perihelios as a vivid purple hue and a sensational perfume of crème de cassis, fresh blueberries, spring flowers, violets, and sweet tobacco. It's incredibly well balanced, with a juicy, pure, seamless mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a great finish. It's already hard to resist, yet there are solid underlying tannins here, and it's going to be long-lived. Drink 2030-2055.
