The 2022 Merlot Rive Droite offers gorgeous purity, with a beautiful perfume of cassis, spring flowers, and chocolaty herbs. This medium to full-bodied, pure, and elegant effort shows seamless integration, fine tannins, and a graceful texture. Based on 98.5% Merlot and 1.5% Cabernet Franc, it will drink beautifully over the coming decade.

Almost entirely Merlot (there's 1.5% Cabernet Franc), the 2022 Rive Droite Paradise Hills Vineyard features scents of ripe cherries and raspberries accented by gentle baking spices. It's full-bodied and supple, intense but not at all overweight, with a long, fresh finish. Impressive!
The 2022 Rive Droite Paradise Hills Vineyard is dense and layered in the glass. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, mocha, new leather and licorice power through. Opulent and racy, with tons of richness, the Merlot-based Rive Droite captures all the intensity of the year while also retaining impeccable balance. Tannins lend the wine shape on the close.
