2024 The Blade

Made by Ashley Holland and based on 100% Sauvignon Blanc aged on lees for 12 months in a mix of acacia and cigar barrels, the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc The Blade is gorgeous all the way and well worth seeking out. Ripe crushed citrus, hints of stone fruits, chalky minerality, and a salty, sea breeze-like character all shine here, and it's medium-bodied, with a concentrated, layered texture, integrated acidity, and outstanding length. It's a serious, rich, mineral-laced Sauvignon Blanc that will keep for at least a decade. Drink 2025-2035.
