Dark ruby. Cherry, cassis, dark chocolate and candied violet on the smoky, intensely perfumed nose. Sweet, supple dark fruit compote flavors are complicated by floral pastille and bitter chocolate accents, with bright acidity adding lift and cut. Refreshingly spicy on the finish, which clings with very good tenacity and a subtle touch of mocha.
