Note di degustazione
Ex-Reverie vineyard. 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot. Deep purple. Slightly ferrous and gamey black-fruited nose with a touch of sweet oak and minerality. Glycerol richness and broadness to the palate with very rounded open-weave texture. Lots of flavour but the structure isn't as firm as 2021. A trickle of herbiness on the finish. (SCJ) 17/20 points

A blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Petit Verdot from Diamond Mountain, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Rhadamanthus shows red and black plums, chocolate, wild herbs, olive tapenade, and graphite. Rich and full-bodied, with an upfront, supple mouthfeel and background tannins, it's another gorgeous wine that will drink beautifully over the coming 15 years.
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Rhadamanthus Diamond Mountain District is redolent of dark cherry, sage, espresso, incense, licorice and dried herbs. Potent mountain tannins back it all up. Readers can expect a mid-weight, structured Cabernet build for at least medium-term cellaring. This is impressive juice. The 2022 is a very dense, mysterious wine. (Drink between 2027-2042) (AG)
