Fruit sourced from Sleeping Lady vineyard. Deep purple. Orange-oily floral nose – enticing freshness. Deeply flavourful and open with fine tannin that’s not super-aggressive – soft and easy compared with the 2021. Not as long or structured on the finish as 2021 but really flavourful. (SCJ)

So deep, dark and structured, but also silky and tempting to drink now. It shows impressive depth of black fruit, savory nuances and oak spices, all wrapped in snug, fine-grained tannins. Cocoa, graphite, dried blueberry and dark chocolate flavors. (JG)
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sleeping Lady Vineyard, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Anjea shows beautiful elegance, with red and black fruits, violets, flowers, and leather-driven aromatics. Full-bodied, beautifully textured, and round on the palate, with ripe tannins, it's gorgeous on all accounts. I love its purity, balance, and finesse, yet it's a concentrated, powerful 2022 that will keep for two decades.
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Anjea Sleeping Lady Vineyard is a total knockout. Fresh, vibrant and nuanced, the 2022 impresses with its exquisite energy. All of this fruit came in late, post-heat. Cinnamon, new leather, kirsch and espresso develop in the glass, adding layers of complexity. This is hands-down one of the wines of the year. It's classic Sleeping Lady all the way.
