The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Cherbaudes ler Cru, one of the last vineyards picked, has an expressive, more sensual bouquet with wilted rose petal infusing the brambly red berry fruit, hints of graphite and mulch-like scents. This has real character. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, red fruit laced with white pepper and a touch of bay leaf fanning out gently towards the finish. A "baby Griottes" remarked Louis Fourrier. Exactly!

Domaine Fourrier is located in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. The estate has been run by Jean-Marie Fourrier since 1994, and has rapidly become one of the village’s most fashionable names, known for producing pure and transparent Pinot Noir.
