The 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges pours from the glass with red currant fruit and funky, slightly gamey, cured-meat-like undertones. Dusty tannins grip the palate from start to finish. The 2023 clamps down on the close, leaving behind an echo of red licorice. I suspect time will be beneficial here.
