1986 Domaine des Comtés Lafon Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru

Rose-gold color. Sexy scents of musky hazelnut, ripe apricot and orange oil, plus a whiff of redcurrant. Firm-edged and energetic, with penetrating acidity and pronounced minerality giving the vibrant flavors of yellow stone fruits, mango and red berries terrific verve. Faint hints of toffee and maple as well as a light balsamic note and a sweet earthy component contribute sex appeal to this very fresh wine. Not fleshy or silky on first pour, this wine ultimately reveals a creamy quality. There's no fatigue factor to this fully mature white Burgundy.
