Note di degustazione
Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Coombsville and aged in 64% new French oak, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon shows gorgeous aromatics of red and black fruits intermixed with gravelly earth, minerality, loamy soil, and savory herbs. Serious stuff, it's full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with building tannins and a gorgeous finish. There are 224 cases produced, and it needs 4-6 years of bottle age but will have three decades of life. Drink 2029-2053.

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the very finest wines in this range. Blackberry, gravel, incense, licorice and espresso are all beautifully amplified. This is an especially dramatic, huge Coombsville Cabernet. Time in the glass further brings out the wine's density and gravitas. Give it time to soften.
All Cabernet Sauvignon, largely from the Meteor Vineyard in Coombsville, Arietta's 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon spent 20 months in French oak prior to bottling. Put simply, it's a terrific effort, marked by dark, enthralling scents of cassis, blueberries, sage and mocha. Medium- to full-bodied, it's concentrated and structured by layers of soft tannins, with a long, lush and intensely flavorful finish. Give it at least a few years in the cellar, if you can.
