Assemblage. A slightly fuller crimson. The nose is a little reticent though has weight, just hasn’t woken up yet. The palate delivers the full wealth of fruit, with spice behind, but perhaps would use a touch more vivacity. This may just be sleeping, and certainly the finish delivers what one might expect of Richebourg.

Descended from the Gros family of Vosne-Romanée, Anne-Françoise Gros established her own domaine in 1988. Today her children, Caroline and Mathias Parent, run the estate, which has some impressive holdings, focused in and around Vosne-Romanée.
