2024 Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas

We tried this from both types of container to see what the differences might be. Tried from wood, the colour is crimson with a tiled edge. Immediately succulent alpine strawberry fruit, along with some pepper. More cherry in the mouth plus new oak. From Clayver, it is slightly brighter in colour, less fruit on the nose, more saline, more peppery. The blend is the most harmonious as the fruit returns but the oak is damped down.
