Note di degustazione
Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged 22 months in French oak, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley sports a healthy, dense purple hue and offers classic cassis and darker berry fruits as well as spice, tobacco, and loamy soil notes on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, round, and supple on the palate, it has a beautiful texture, soft tannins, and incredible charm. It's great today yet should evolve nicely over the coming 10-12 years. Drink 2025-2037.

The largest single component of Myriad's 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley comes from Kenefick Ranch (Calistoga), but it also includes elements from Round Pond (Rutherford), Lantz (Calistoga) and McGah (Rutherford). Only about 50% of the French oak barrels were new in this abundant vintage (900 cases produced), letting the black-cherry fruit lead the way in this full-bodied but supple wine. Despite the high yields, it comes across as adequately concentrated and long on the finish, while remaining easy to drink young.
