The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Vine is a dense, full-bodied Caberent Sauvignon from David Arthur. Black cherry, lavender, cloves, new leather and incense are all amplified in the glass. The 2023 exudes mid-palate richness and textural intensity from start to finish. It's another gorgeous wine from David Arthur. All of this fruit is Clone 8 Cabernet Sauvignon on St. George rootstock. The suave finish is quite inviting.

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Vine is embryonic but also very promising. Bright acids and vibrant beams of tannin shape this mid-weight, classically built wine. Lavender, sage, mint, spice, tobacco and incense are all finely delineated. The long, mineral-drenched finish is captivating. This is a stellar showing from winemaker Nile Zacherle.
