Note di degustazione
Harvested October 14–18, the 2023 Pinot Noir Cleary Estate unfolds dramatically on the nose, with raspberry and blueberry giving way to nuances of charcuterie, woodsmoke, mushrooms and conifer. The medium-bodied palate is surprisingly concentrated, delivering waves of spicy red fruit. It has a luxuriously silky texture, vibrant, shimmery acidity and a long, elegant finish. 400 cases were made.

A medium red color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Cleary Ranch is savory on the nose with notes of clove, blackberries, dark stones, umami depth, and briny wind-swept herbs. It’s full-bodied and comes from a steep, dry-farmed site in Freestone Occidental. It has a rich, structured feel, ripe tannins, and a mouthwatering sanguine feel through the finish with notes of blood orange. Drink 2025-2040.
The 2023 Pinot Noir Cleary Estate is arguably the highlight in this set of new releases from Paul Hobbs. Soaring aromatics and brisk acids make a strong opening statement. Crushed flowers, herbs, mint and vibrant red/purplish fruit are all beautifully sculpted. This nuanced, mineral-driven Pinot is so complete, so alluring.
